The course will take place over 2 days, with the Rookie Course on the Saturday and the Lifesaving Instructor course on the Sunday.

This course is for those who are currently involved with Lifesaving Clubs  and those who wish to help in the delivery of the programmes at a club. You can book a place by following this link (£50 returnable deposit)

Those who deliver in a Commercial environment can attend with the course costing £100

Lifesaving Instructor + Rookie Lifeguard Instructor

This 2 day course is designed to give attendees the skills and qualifications to deliver both the Rookie Lifeguard Programme and the Survive and Save Programme. Those wishing to attend need to be a minimum of 16 years of age.

Rookie Lifeguard Instructor

This is the qualification needed to deliver the RLSSUK Rookie Lifeguard Programme. Aimed at 8 -12 year olds, it is taught using colourful materials, and fun, varied lifesaving and rescue activities to give children the skills they need to be confident in the pool or the sea and enjoy water safely, whether in shallow or deeper water.

Lifesaving Instructor

Lifesaving Instructor is the qualification needed to deliver the RLSS UK Survive and Save Programme.

The Survive & Save Programme is our lifesaving award scheme for anyone aged 12 years and over. The awards are challenging but fun to complete and are arranged into Bronze, Silver and Gold levels to ensure that participants get the opportunity to develop their lifesaving skills as they progress through the awards.
