About Us
Established in 1971
Welcome to Droylsden Life Saving Club, where we are passionate about promoting water safety and rescue skills! Our club has been run by dedicated volunteers since 1971 and we are proud to been affiliated with the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) since 1974. Our highly trained and experienced instructors offer a range of courses and training programs for all ages and skill levels. With state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, we ensure that our members receive the best possible training and support.

Alan Jones
March 1937 - December 2015
He helped establish our club in 197, During his time with us he was able to support and position the club to ensure members of the public - children and adults alike - had the opportunity to learn vital lifesaving skills.
Alan Fletcher
December 1942 - May 2016
He set our club’s platform to help future generations to achieve bigger and greater things. He was a part of the foundations of this club, he was a fun character who never prioritised his needs above anyone else’s. He has been sadly missed by all at the club but will always be remembered for making us who we are today.
