Droylsden life Saving Club is welcoming, community-focused club that helps people of all ages build lifesaving skills, water safety knowledge, rescue ability and confidence in the water. We believe in making lifesaving accessible to everyone, in a supportive and inclusive environment.
OUR STORY
Established in 1971
Droylsden Life Saving Club was established in 1971 and has been a long-standing part of the local community ever since. For over five decades, we have proudly supported generations of members, helping them develop vital lifesaving skills, build confidence and make lifelong friendships.
Supports DLSC by helping connect the club with local sport, activity and community opportunities.
DLSC is affiliated with RLSS UK, supporting recognised lifesaving awards, training and water safety education.
Supports DLSC with training, qualifications and development opportunities for members and volunteers.

Passionate people making a difference
Our club is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who give their time to help members learn, develop and enjoy lifesaving.
Our instructors and helpers support sessions, events, training and the day-to-day running of the club, helping to create a safe, friendly and welcoming environment for everyone.

RLSS UK Affiliated Club
Droylsden Life Saving Club is proudly affiliated with the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK).
Our affiliation supports the club in delivering recognised lifesaving and water-safety education, helping members develop practical rescue skills, confidence and knowledge in a safe and supportive environment.
