Who can attend?

Open to new and existing members of all abilities (subject to a swim assessment).

What happens?

A mix of lifesaving skills, rescue techniques, water safety, fitness and fun!

It's easy to join Droylsden life Saving Club. Follow these simple steps:

Check you're suitable

Check our joining requirements here:

  • Age 8+

  • Jump / Dive into Deep Water

  • Climb out unaided without ladders and where pool design permits

  • Swim 50+ metres confidently

  • Tread Water for 1 minute
